Founder Story

Frances Antoinette Cheever, AKA, Major A. Cheever, is a

 30-year U.S. Army Veteran and former senior officer in the Army Nurse Corps, with extensive experience in emergency, 

critical care and command operations. From treating America’s Wounded Warriors at Walter Reed to deploying for 

global humanitarian missions, Frances has seen firsthand the physical and emotional toll of service and 

the power of storytelling and community in the healing process.

As a screenwriter, producer, and founder of Squeaky Reel Productions, she’s dedicated to bringing visibility to 

Veterans’ stories and creating pathways for their voices to be heard. With a Master’s in Producing from American University and a heart for service, she launched Pop Smoke™ and Reeboot™ as more than brands they’re a mission to 

inspire pride, spark wellness, and give back to those who’ve served.
